    Scorecard for to. missing?

I just noticed that the scorecard for to. is missing, and ratings don't seem to work either.

to. (or just to) is, in fact, a valid domain name (see http://to./).

    TLD?

I guess that WOT interpretes "to." as "to.missingTLD"...

Siteadvisor also complains: "You did not enter a valid domain."

    Re: Scorecard for to. missing?

That's the .to TLD and you need to append a dot to it to prevent your browser from looking up a host on the local network. I wonder why someone would want to point the TLD itself to a website...

It is a valid URL, but with WOT blocking mechanism on, you can NOT visit it. I guess because it doesn't have a scorecard.

    re .to

.to just like .com and .net have no scorecards...
but valid domains do, such as the short URL redirection services at jump.to or kickme.to

      Re .to

That's right, we don't rate top level domains at the moment.

        rate TLD

we don't rate top level domains at the moment.

Are there plans to in the future?

        More importantly, why?
A TLD if rated very poorly could possibly block all domains, couldn't it?

Example IF .com is rated low, how could WOT work since it reside on the .com TLD?

I could see setting up scorecard-like pages that could not be commented on nor rated, but more for informational purposes.

        Example, a .com scorecard hxxp://www.mywot.com/scorecard/com
        Would display something like:
The domain name com is a generic top-level domain (gTLD) in the Domain Name System of the Internet. Its name is derived from commercial, indicating its original intended purpose for networks of general commercial character.

The gTLD com was originally administered by the United States Department of Defense, but is today operated by VeriSign. Registrations in com are processed via registrars accredited by ICANN. The registry accepts internationalized domain names.

            Re: rate TLD

I think there should not be plans. TLD hold to much different content to rate them reliable. We cant rate .com bad because there are some sites with 18+ Material and let sites like e.g www.ebay.com suffer.
Or did i get something wrong in this thread?
