The use of ads help make the internet free. However, if companies do not monitor the ads that they push out on behalf of their customers and they are malicious then there is an ethical issue. Block ads using Firefox with no script.

I don't know what the big deal that is being made about this site. They don't put out any malware of any kind. They only track your activity on the internet which is not dangerous and can easily be controlled with a simple add on called "DNTMe" (do not track me). I've been using this add on for 2 years and find it very effective at controlling who can track my activity on the internet. I also use an add on called "NoScript" which blocks javascripts and some other items that web designers like to put on your computer to make things work better or to do some nasty things. It's time people start putting useful information up here to separate the real bad guys for the people who only want to make money by tracking you and advertising to your computer. That's not a bad thing and is very easy to control.
