1. Always look at the file size. Usually software like entitled, Norton 2010 full free... yah yah. But oh look, it's 5kb. Hmm.. Isn't a norton installer over 100mb?

3. Antivirus. Protection is essential. ALLRIGHT!!! USE LAYERS! I have Avast legit, and MBAM legit...... If you got memory, go with even more!!!!!! But use only 1 firewall cause things can conflict.

2. There is only 1 download button. The others are darn ads, for ex: "OMG SUPER FAST DOWNLOAD 500MBS!!!!" That's fake.

3. Comment system is the best feature. It tells you what works and what doesn't. Also the rating, which includes good, bad, or virus. :P
However it's based on user judgement. Also helpout, if you find a virus or don't find it as a virus, comment. :P

4. (RISK TAKING) (If your a pussy cat or feline, then listen to your antivirus other wise stop reading.) Some software are marked as viruses when they're not. Some cracks are legit but marked. Trust me, if you trust it, disable your antivirus and let it roll. It's that gut feeling. This is one of the last steps.

5. Some torrent files after dling have passwords that tell u to go to this site and take a darn survey. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! FAKE!!

6. The porn, well, most porn are viruses, remember the filesize rule.
