Is forums.psychcentral.com Safe?

The support here may be helpful but good luck trying to join - they ban IP addresses from large ISPs "(such as Comcast or Verizon)" (their wording). My ISP is different but apparently they don't like it either. As a result I'm rating them "poor customer experience." I'm also not sure this would be a good site for children, not because of what is usually described as "adult content" but just because of the subject matter. I haven't been to all the areas (I used an RSS feed and monitored messages for a while before deciding to join) but of the ones I have seen, I'm not sure they're appropriate for children to read - at least not without parental supervision.
