Often, Microsoft sites, including Hotmail, refuse to take my password, so I have to reset it; or once I'm in, the site freezes & the only thing that works is the red X, thank goodness.
The hotmail spam filter is great. Only one spam in several months. I wish the help menus were easier to understand, and if possible, positioned so you can read and follow directions simultaneously.
Also, if I'm supposed to do something with a toolbar, for example, I wish they would tell me what a toolbar is and explain what I'm doing and why, in lay terms. (maybe one link from each help menu to a beginner's version?) The instructions are often over my head.

I'm glad Microsoft keeps trying to get better. The constant changes can be confusing, though.
This isn't really a complaint or a compliment, but I do spend too much time resetting my password when I want to do something in Microsoft. Also, it isn't always easy or possible to find things I have found before.
I believe I'd get a lot more out of Microsoft and it's features if I could understand both what the features do, and the instructions for using them. Instead, except for hotmail, I try to avoid the Microsoft-specific sites. "

I know there are many MANY MANY windows haters. But, I like the site because I like to learn about windows products. I mean really, you are criticizing them for advertising on their own site. Thats all they do on Apple's site - advertise. At least Microsoft offers MSDN, knowledge base and technet. Oh,and my version of Windows Vista runs fine. Its not Microsoft's fault if you manage to get a virus. "
