The RIAA is a special interest company that has spent millions to lobby congress and lawmakers to pass laws that infringe on privacy and freedom to express. They engage in a deceptive, repulsive campaign that blames their plunge in profits on their own consumers, and in turn suing these consumers and threatening them with legal penalties that were reserved for large-scale piracy. In short, a company that commits acts of almost certain corporate bribery and extortion cannot possibly be a reliable vendor. "

It's awful that the US government even has the FUNDS to sponser such a idiotic group. They aren't helping our society in any way by taking down so many links to m4a and mp3 files. The retards make enough revenue in a FU**ING YEAR TO SUPPORT ALL THOSE ARTISTS, yet they will not let us upload copies of their work. What money hungry bastards. Why do they exist?! To ruin our lives. They probably don't even know how much the artists under their wing make a year, and that uploading a FEW simple songs on websites isn't going to hurt them , their rich butts, 2 billion dollar mansion, and Porsche. Dissapointing. Besides that fact, they sue your a$$ if you download or upload copyrighted material, which is billions worth of losses.
EDIT: As of 2012 they have helped shut down megaupload. I despise them even more now. "
