Is uninstallvirus.com Safe?

It is inappropriate to deem this site as malicious or as containing viruses. In fact the 3rd party software recommended is reasonably legit in its stated purpose. The problem is that the recommended software uses aggressive marketing tactics. The software is extremely sensitive for non-critical issues so lots of problems get detected, and then they rope you into paying a hefty price for all the recommended software. Then you are auto-charged for renewal after 6 months. This is in the fine print of the user agreement. Also in the fine print is how to get your money back. We'll see how responsive they are about that... Regarding the specific software the site recommends, It failed to clean all the malware off my computer but did catch some things. I have not done an objective comparison of different malware apps, but there are many reviews out there to look at. Look at ones done recently. Spyhunter used to have a very bad rep but is more legit now. The company is working hard to improve its reputation (and not above sending lawyers against those who claim otherwise (no, I have not had any personal experience with this. Just search the web)). Recent reviews about it are mixed. I am going to try to get my money back for speedy pc pro and spyhunter 4, simply on principle because of the aggressive auto-renewal marketing that wasn't disclosed to me up-front, which is a shame, because if it wasn't for that, I would keep spyhunter 4 running alongside my malwarebytes. They both seem to be better at different things.
