Screwfix are a chain of UK hardware stores open to construction trades and to the general public. While they traditionally operate via in-store catalogue similar to Argos, it can be very convenient to browse and reserve items online. I reserved and paid for some items yesterday and it was waiting for me when I arrived this morning, which was very convenient. They also offer a delivery service with full online commerce, but it's rather expensive. I also find the prices can be rather high for some items, particularly single items, so be sure to shop around, but if you end up coming back to Screwfix afterwards, that's not always a bad thing.
