Teenink.com rating

Somebody please explain to me why teenink.com has a bad rating (yellow). I am the author of an article on this site. They aren't linked to any bad sites and they work with the Young Authors' Foundation and AOL RED. They always had green in trustworthiness and child safety and yellow in privacy and vendor reliability. I never even got that. Now, today, the only green circle left is child safety and it's a super-light green. Teenink has a magazine and everything and they've been around forever; even longer than the Internet was around. The site does send weekly newsletter emails to members like myself, but you can opt out and they are NOT spam! This is a really good site and it helps teens get their writing out there for others to enjoy. It also provides young people with good poetry and life lessons, etc. Believe me, I'm all for protection against scam sites and malware infestation. WOT is the best choice (in combination with many other tools) to keep you safe online. But, teenink doesn't deserve that rating unless you can give me a huge reason why, which you can't. I'm sick of seeing those yellow circles every time I visit one of my very favorite sites. What's next, a red rating? Come on people!

nice site

Rated excellent, commented and agreed to your previous comment.

The domain has been around since 1998.
There is 1 (out of 111) blacklist results over at www.mxtoolbox.com via SpamCannibal, but it's not quite correct, IMO, it references a different IP, though contained in the same IP block range. I brushed it off as a FP.

The site looks decent enough. maybe it was some among their articles that had given it a yellow rating.
