From http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/10/13/dropbox-acqui... we see that the popular file syncing company DropBox has finally acquired DropBox.com from the squatter that was holding it. DropBox.com now redirects to GetDropBox.com. However, GetDropBox.com normally uses HTTPS encryption but when I get redirected through DropBox.com, there is no encryption. This seems to be a security blunder. Any thoughts about this and why there is no encryption when I get redirected? I'm using Firefox 3.5.
I've currently rated DropBox.com as proceed with caution until the encryption issue is sorted out.
