Angelina Jolie is the bait in spam emails
jeu 24 jui 2008 09:13:34 UTC — Deborah S.My junk mailbox includes a number of interesting offers and a newly popular one tries to entice me to see pictures and videos of actress Angelina Jolie in various states of undress. The URL in the spam email is linked to an executable file which IT security firm BitDefender has identified as Trojan malware.
A ScanSafe study released a few days ago indicated malware attacks increased 278% in the first half of 2008. Cybercriminals are getting creative, often using popular celebrities as bait, so resist the urge to click and pay attention to the WOT icons next to those links.

Celebrity trojan
I'm not sure if they are connected, but an IT Management article says that Panda labs reports the Angelina Jolie email is a scam to spread Agent.IMB Trojab. The International Academy of Security Management identified it as Trojan.Agent.AGGZ.
I get alot in my Yahoo mail
I am looking at my Yahoo Mail account and I see 5 or more of these emails. I delete this garb anyway just wish the spam would slow down. Man 365 messages and 255 in the filtered spam folder, I checked my mail 3 days ago.
