I just noticed that Java update to Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U15 6.0.150.3 didn't help it.
But FF only crashes on that site, not on other wikipedia sites (with different content: only text, text with picture and/or math), not on other domains.
Perhaps someone with HTML/Java knowledge can examine if there's a script error or something special of that english wikipedia article? Compare the German version where I don't observe crash (I checked several times).
The strangest thing is: FF doesn't crash each time so I cannot predict when it does and when it doesn't - perhaps it depends on whether I open the link in a new tab, in the same tab, or after loading the start page (firefox's default start page) in a new FF window.
I know very little about scripting. But I have noticed this, the German version of that Wikipedia article contains a LOT less content then the English one. Most noticeable, is the .ogg sound file near the bottom. I also receive one more warning on the English version of the page which is this; Warning: Unknown property 'column-count'. Declaration dropped.
Why not try loading the sound file on the page and see if that crashes Firefox? Sound File
Like I said I know very little about scripting, so not sure if any of that made sense. :)
You should inform WOT via Support about the problem and also reference this thread.

Sorry, I can't reproduce the problem. As you noticed, reinstalling Firefox rarely helps, please try creating a new Firefox profile instead.
Anyway, there's nothing much we can do about Firefox crashes. Our add-on doesn't do anything that should be able to crash Firefox unless there's bug in the browser (or one of the low-level plugins, such as Java).
I had the same issue, but it was more involved than just the WOT plugin. The plugin was not the problem. Up until version 3.5 beta 2, the browser worked great...even with the updated WOT plugin for it. Then I updated to beta 3 and kept going until the final release and then to 3.5.1. After having several crashes and memory issues after updating to beta 3 and beyond, I yanked it all out and went back to FF 3.0. So until mozilla can get this issue with the java scripting fixed, I would suggest everyone to revert back to their previous working known version.
Maybe the reason I have not experienced any problem(s) is that I do not enable java in Firefox. It's a personal preference... I just don't like java applets or sites requiring java to be enabled.

Firefox 3.5.1 crashed when Wikimedia pages loaded. This includes Wikipedia, Wiktionary, etc. For some reason, Firefox had a miscommunication with Wikimedia sites that cause Firefox to respond inaccurately...crashing Firefox.
User Hamit.

Crash... interaction with Java?
mer 22 jui 2009 14:21:43 UTC — wuehlmausMy Firefox crashes at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comet_Shoemaker-Levy_...
I use
Windows XP SP3
Firefox 3.5.1
WOT 20090414 with setting to block "red" sites.
I have WOT on Internet Explorer 7 too with blocking "red" sites and IE7 doesn't crash.
With Firefox 3.5.1 I observe this:
Seems that Firefox crashes as a result of interaction between WOT and Java binary.
Hope that helps.

As g7w mentionned, try a clean profile.
Some addons interactions can also cause problems.
Try disabling for addons, restart firefox to find the culprit.
No luck
