Is it possible to make normal rates worth more than mass rates from this point onwards - while keeping the system logarithmic? Now in the range of people in the activity range of 20000 and up (I have 22070), people that rate against lists of their own or off the web using mass rates are the only people getting any activity score.
However, I, who don't use mass rating like I did before, have never seen a change in my activity score in a few months, even after rating a few hundred domains as I pass them.
Bump for great justice!

Perhaps already so..?

I would not be surprised if there was already a similar system at work. Another aspect - mass or normal ratings won't affect 'activity' much if you're already above platinum...
logarithmic
dim 30 aoû 2009 16:29:39 UTC — g7wIf it's logarithmic
then the "higher up" you get, the "more" you have to rate to get "higher."
I'm not sure if there is a penalty for mass-rating versus 1 by 1.
Why would it matter if I do a manual dig and place 60 domains and/or IP's into the mass rating tool for a 1 time submission, or submit them 60 times?
Example, I just spent about an hour discovering 14 domains which I then placed into the mass-rating tool for single-click submission, why should it count "less" than if I opened the domain, click the WOT icon to open the scorecard and then enter the rating and leave a comment? If it takes 2 minutes for each domain open -> rate -> comment, then I just saved 28 minutes of my time to do the same job.

lun 31 aoû 2009 20:56:25 UTC — FlyAquai think what he means is that normally, if you mass-rate, you've found a blacklist you just copy. Whereas, when you rate a single domain, you're very likely to have checked that domain yourself. Isn't that what you mean, Delan Azabani?

lun 31 aoû 2009 21:21:08 UTC — g7wI do believe that is what is meant
My point is, how would the mass-rate tool know if the domains I place into it are from an online list, such as URIBL or from hours of digging out associated domains and building my own "list." Should one have more value over the other? If so, why?
BTW, many domains listed on uriBL when opened in a browser, get redirected to the actual PHISH site; since uriBL displays Spam domains.

More specific, and start a new thread
mar 01 sep 2009 10:19:37 UTC — BobJam@eylem,
You need to be more specific and then people can help you. For example. just EXACTLY what is happening? Are you getting a message, have you installed the add on, what browser are you using, is the add on showing in your browser, what Operating System are you using, how much memory do you have . . . etc.?
Also, start a new thread on this. With your question (too vague, BTW) buried deep in this thread and this thread being a topic unrelated to yours, it is unlikely that you will get a quick response . . . if any at all.
Thank you...BobJam....I have
