my friend installed crawler toolbar and web security guard from spyware terminator website he has three virus which are quartined because of this toolbar he has no problems using there spyware terminator programs but it seems strange that the product they advertize has virus bundled with it namely crawler toolbar. Has anyone else had problems with this?

Yes, it looks like other users have experienced problems with the Crawler toolbar as well.
yea i downloaded crawler
yea i downloaded crawler tool bar about a month ago. As soon as it was downloaded my firewall immediately locked down my computer, scanned for viruses, and remove it immediately. Later on i found out that it was spy ware.

Well i would not say Spyware Terminator is bad, but the CTB is VERY BAD.

I have also had problems with CTB,infact the problem was so severe i had to do a full system restore.

i use inbox webmail,,no problems there,,but wot doesnt like the screensavers,,games etc,,,but i did investigate the crawler toolbar,,some sites are acceptable to download it,,it also has been given a trustworthy award from cnet,,so,,,just have to bew careful i always try the homepage and if wot,,ted i avoid,
