Currently WOT blocks sites if they are dangerous.
And it's possible to finetune the sensibility...

Maybe the Blocking feature could be expanded?
Here are two initial suggestions:

Block only parts of page

Modern sites are not simple, more like conglomerates:
mixed content from mixed media in different types.
I suggest these possible partial blocks:

1: Block by category.
2: Block scripts.
3: Block video.
4: Block sound.
5: Block images.
6: Block text. This will display images only.
7: Block all except text. Evt plain text only.

Either All (as default) or specified types.

(This will add functionality similar or related to Adblocker, NoScript etc)

Block traffic

Block traffic in or out (or both) from certain sites.

1: Block by category.
2: Block by rating.
3: Block by (black)list.
4: Block by port.

Either All (as default) or specified types.

(This will add functionality similar or related to ZoneAlarm or other Firewalls)

Other possible blocks?

This is only meant as a beginning, import of functionality already existing elsewhere.
I'm not sure what the next is, only that it is. Who'll be the first to suggest the next..?

WOT Toolbar?

So far WOT basically exists in only two forms: icon / site. How about toolbar as third option? Here all blockings could be displayed directly, and WOT ratings be visible too...

PS: As a rule I suggest the simple version is always the first default,
so newbies is never overwhelmed with lots of unknown possibilities;
of course they all eventually learn, but new ones arrive constantly...
(Experienced users should also be allowed to proceed at once)
