Of these sites, about 772,423 are categorized as dangerous; i.e., their reputation is either poor or very poor. This represents 4.7% of the sites rated. When you take a closer look at the dangerous ones, you will find 627,218 sites (3.8%) that have a poor reputation regarding privacy and 329,103 (2%) with poor vendor reliability.
While searching for information, an average user visits 100 new websites each month. On the basis of the percentage of dangerous websites as presented by WOT, it will take on average of six days of random browsing to land on a dangerous site.
