I just installed FF RC1 and try to add WOT but firefox won't let me use it cause it's incompatible with this version, it was working well with beta 5, i think you need to change the FF version req to use wot, hope you will do that soon.
thanks
haven't had any clue the FF change something this big from beta 5 to RC1
anyway blocking chrome:// seems like a good idea ! though it will break many extensions and delay the release of FF 3 version of that extension
The fixed version has been pending review on the Firefox Add-ons site since May 19th. If you are using Firefox 3, you can download the latest add-on here.
I've been using the update for about a week now and have had no issues. It works just fine.
Ironically, all the hype that PayPal made about not allowing 'obsolete' browsers, awhile back, seems to have come full-circle: the PayPal plugin for Firefox is NOT compatible with FF 3.
I just disabled NoScript, and it works now. Funny, because before, it was working with NoScript enabled (with 'Allow WOT'). Unfortunately, to enable/disable NoScript, I must restart my browser.
Actually, the problem began just about the time I upgraded my NoScript version. Therein may lie the problem.
and by the way, MyWOT is working fine in RC 2. I've been using it for a couple of days and so far, so good...no problems.
P.S. did you know that the NoScript FAQ page gives MyWOT a recommendation?
Yes, Cookies are enabled, and I am set up for Auto logon. Everything else seems to work, although, earlier I tried to comment on a site, and was informed that I needed to register at WOT in order to make a comment. That is now working, but I still get a generic 'my page'.
Re: WOT and Firefox 3 RC1
Сбт 17 Май 2008 08:18:00 — SamiIt's been changed, but it seems to take a couple of hours for Add-ons to update.
Re: WOT and Firefox 3 RC1
Сбт 17 Май 2008 08:50:00 — SamiRC1 apparently breaks WOT by refusing to load objects from chrome URLs on pages. This stops the add-on from embedding ratings anywhere.
Update: Turns out the problem is caused by a very late policy change that hasn't been all that well publicized. A fixed add-on is coming next week.
If anyone would like to test the RC1 compatible add-on before it's released, please contact us.
Update 2: The fixed add-on is available from our download page.

Re: haven't had any clue the FF
Пнд 19 Май 2008 04:39:48 — SamiWe were rather surprised ourselves and I'm sure so were many other add-on authors.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered to test the add-on! It seems nobody has noticed any major issues, so we'll push out the update as soon as possible.
It could take a while for the update to be reviewed in Firefox Add-ons though.
i couldn't find any issue
Пнд 19 Май 2008 21:10:37 — mehfuzi couldn't find any issue with WOT and FF RC1 in past 2 days, so i guess there is no major conflicts present here.

Cannot add a comment
Птн 30 Май 2008 19:42:27 — Seattle JohnToday, I have tried to add a comment on several sites, but the button just blinks when I click it. It does not open the comment box.
RE: Cannot add a comment

Is javascript enabled in your browser? Javascript is needed because commenting does not work without it.

Where's MyPage?
Пнд 09 Июн 2008 15:21:03 — Seattle JohnI tried looking at my page today, and just got a screen with the WOT totals and a message that I needed to install WOT to view that feature.
