I can't comment on the rating, but how did you conclude it was Google? It's neither owned or hosted by them.

    Re. hell.com

    Whois for *hell.com
    http://whois.domaintools.com/hell.com

You get a Google Search line at the end of the pages, but it doesn't look like a "Google page".
Haven't looked so closely at it.
    Can't say if it's false/positive.

    Green according to Siteadvisor...

I just checked Siteadvisors rating and comments on hell.com
Rating green. All comments green. Nothing red.

PS: However WOT also displays "Malware Listing: Spyware or adware".
Hm, where does this malware listing originate from (no links)..?

    hell.com is -

hell.com is owned by Kenneth Aronson:
    http://www.linkedin.com/in/kennetharonson

It seems to have two purposes:
    1 ... it's an art form.
    2 ... it's a valuable, but extremely subtle advertisment.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell.com

The only problem I encountered on any of Kenneth Aronson's sites was:
bat.hell.com which caused the WOT block page to 'hiccup'.
You can see that by temporarily rating bat.hell.com as all red, and visiting.

    Harmless! :-)

Footnote: If you have Firefox, use 'view page source':
"no frame no picture..quote Z! sometime last century."
    Looks like geek humour. :)

    Just checked your linkedin link.
Looks as if you're right; which means
that Hell is better than its reputation... ;)

    So in the end...

So in the end hell.com might be welcome..?

    How about heaven.com then?
I'm almost tempted to suggest a similar joke:
Been there, done that, burned my wings...
    (more lol)

    Dish of the day...

logicman: "skinned black Google. Does that come with a side salad?"

Tape-salad is always extra. But you could choose the traditional dish:
Phishing and chips (with only a little bit of spam, spam, spam)...

Can we leave it there for now -

      - and maybe ketchup later ?

      :-)

(edited) i didn't want anyone to spot that I'd spelled 'maybe' as 'mayby'. ;-)

    Ketchup later...

After the issue with hell.com was resolved, this thread began to wander off topic.
A new seperate thread, with jokes as topic, would make more sense, methinks... ;)

    Re: off-topic.

    Maybe a new category:

"Absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with spam, phishing, fraud, viruses, trojans, worms, rogue software or anything at all in any way shape or form to do with web security, site evaluation, or any broadly similar or related topic whatsoever in any form or style, but reserved exclusively for the sort of insane stuff that tends to put a severe dent in any serious reviewer's reputation."

    Or maybe:

    "Fun stuff." :-)
