    Congrats !!

if it wouldn't be for their hard work and their tenacity , we would be up a creek without a paddle. I know there are other security programs that do a good job but, it's MalwareBytes that saves us the the long and hard task of trying to extract those malicious files and Rogue programs that haunt our friend's,customer's and member's PCs. Thanks to all the helpers and Developers at MalwareBytes.

    Again , CONGRATULATIONS MALWAREBYTES !!!

    All Right!

That's amazing news! And that number isn't just for show. So much time is saved by using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware instead of manually cleaning up an infected machine. It's great to see smiling faces who are happy about having a computer that works again. But none of it could have happened without the hard work and dedication of the Malwarebytes' developers. Congrats also to the Malwarebytes' community; you've definitely helped a lot of people. :-)

      Tracking Cookies !

You want tracking cookies gone then , download and install SUPERAntiSpyware :
http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispyware.h... . Get the FREE version for home use. Do a quick scan (about 20 minutes) . Don't forget to Up-Date the definitions Before you scan.

Another program that I think no PC should be without is WinPatrol :
http://www.winpatrol.com/ . There is cookies tab where , you can delete the cookies you want and keep the ones you don't. The program will list cookies for both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Both will install on XP and Vista plus both will play nice in a 64 bit environment.

      Athlonite.

      ATF Cleaner

      ATF Cleaner:
      http://majorgeeks.com/ATF_Cleaner_d4949.html

No install required and no bloatware!
ATF Cleaner provides the user with a window showing the total bytes freed upon completion. The program is small (36kb), quick to run and no installation required.

    Still more to come

I recommend mbam, Super and WinPatrol along with WOT for surfing safety, good apps that work together well and can resolve many problems easily as well as warning of the dangers that lurk around every corner of the www :-)

      ATF cleaner vs CCleaner

      ATF cleaner vs CCleaner

They are similar but ATF is much safer as CCleaner has introduced Wipe Free Space that can cause problems with data on the hard drive and is rather useless in my opinion.

As long as you defrag the hard drive about once per week or so then that looks after Free Space much safer.

WinPatrol does not conflict with SpywareBlaster, MBAM nor SAS.

Norton has been having a problem with MBAM lately causing it to hang but I would not use anything from Norton as it needs way too much system resources.

I use avast! on Vista and Avira AntiVir on my XP Pro system and they do not conflict with MBAM nor any of the other applications.

        clarify

CCleaner has introduced Wipe Free Space that can cause problems with data on the hard drive
"Free Space" is the unused area you see in defrag, or disk properties, etc.
When you delete a file, you basically remove it's "presence" (location); simple example removeing it's entry from the FAT/FAT32 index - but the information still remains (this is how restore or ghost will work)

Freespace allocation reported by Windows could be incorrect, but Defrag does not repair this; in pre NT there was scandisk and NT/ 2000 / XP there is DiskCheck (scans on next boot) that will repair any misleading free space allocations.

Wiping free space merely overwrites that area with random pattern.
A simply single wipe helps, but there is technology that can restore all "deleted data." So, for example in CCleaner, you have options of wipe, wipe 3 times, wipe 7 times wipe 32 times. If I recall, it was one of the WOT Developers, Sami T. who, years, and years, and years ago (you're a GOM and don't even know it Sami) developed Erasure, which is still maintained (though not by Sami).:-)

      @ demonluo - WinPatrol

WinPatrol does NOT conflict with any other programs that you may have as its methods are completely different, which is why it is highly recommended to run alongside existing applications :-)

    First of all, hooray for

First of all, hooray for MBAM! Excellent program.

Demonluo: I use WinPatrol with SpywareBlaster, MBAM, Avira AntiVir, and SAS without any issues. I doubt it would create any problems with Norton, as I used to run Norton on an older computer with WinPatrol a while back with no problems, either.
