    extended functionality

WOT requires more extended functionality - or may be a better term...

Twitter profiles can be rated in WOT through some form of "conversion" - the scorecard ID's are not simply twitter/_some_name but _p_some_generated_id

    Google has "partner" pages.

    such as: partnerpage.google.com/cavtel.net
cavtel.net when entered into an address bar redirects to the google partner page.

PT has a PHISH for Verizon Wireless at this URL:
    static-66-160-30-210.frame.cavtel.net/central/appmanager/portal/vzcentral-Scene-1/

    re: http://www.phishtank.com/phish_detail.php?phish_id...

    WOT Scorecards allow ratings for:
    static-66-160-30-210.frame.cavtel.net
    frame.cavtel.net
    cavtel.net

Now, it doesn't matter if cavtel.net is rated low when it redirects to partnerpage.google.com/cavtel.net - it inherits Google's partner subdomain green rating.

Can WOT be extended... enhanced to include these "partner pages?"

    Re: extended functionality

Just because one host in the network was compromised doesn't mean the entire domain deserves a poor rating, and especially not their Google Apps page, which seems perfectly harmless to me.

Can WOT be extended... enhanced to include these "partner pages?"

We're still experimenting with Twitter, but yes, we might support other sites in future.

    Extending.

What you're asking for is the possibility to rate URLs, and not only domains.

I think this is unpractical for a number of reasons.

      difference

What's the difference between Google Partners and Twitter users?
Both mask an entity that either holds a separate domain or acts like one.

WOT currently rates Twitter "users" example:
      twitter.com/Web_of_Trust
      aka: _p_k5swex3pmzpvi4tvon2a.twitter.com

Discussions have been raised for both, the added ability to rate a "user" as well as URL tracking

Since WOT offers this functionality with one Internet service, it should also offer it for other similar services, to mention a few:
      partnerpage.google.com/USER
      linkedin.com/USER
      scribd.com/USER

The main reason is because of bogus accounts with malicious intent

      -------
Against Intuition - gives us safety through Web of Trust.
WOT Community - gives us security through unity.
      Thank you all

it'll be cool if wot allow

it'll be cool if wot allow url to be rated instead of domain only(eg, sites.google.com)...
