I thought it was funny and did not take it seriously...
I found nothing malicious with the site as far as causing my AV to alarm; though I didn't stay long, I scanned through it, got a good laugh and went on my way.
There are hundreds of sites that are not serious and are not harmful.
Do you really think that they're going to eat Fuzzy?
I suppose the true test would be to go back to the site after the "deadline" and if there are images of cut up half-cooked kitty... then it would be worth rating - it would have cause.
I remember an old site was brought up 8 months or so ago (I can't remember the name now) and it had a few younger members thinking it was going to hack their PC... when it was all a joke. Maybe this site is a joke too?

I pretty much agree with amishrabbit and g7w. While this may be a tremendously TWISTED joke (and I hesitate to even call it a "joke" . . . more like amishrabbit's "publicity stunt"), it still is not cause to rate red.
g7w put it well. If it turns out there are (sickening) images of a tortured/dying/mangled animal, then that might be cause to rate red, or at least mark down low for "Child Safety". Personally, if that happened I might even make a red comment on "Ethical" issues. But until then it just remains a twisted . . . publicity stunt.
This just reinforces my low opinion of social networking sites (not all, but most).
I seriously hope this is a joke and even if it isn't that the guy goes to some god-forsaken hellhole and kills himself. This is an evil thing to do and I cant understand or even begin to imagine the sickness of this guy. I hope he dies.
not much difference there IMO.

lör 7 nov 2009 07.57.08 av manictigerAlso, I already hear plenty of "Chinese people eat dogs and cats", with out this nut case reinforcing that stereotype.
I'm going to rate this as ethical issues and give it a poor child rating.
This isn't funny. At all.

That's a little too drastic for me. Better to have him undergo root canals without numbing agents.
