From here: ***** A little more detail about what happened. The domain name registration expired because Mike Healan is nowhere to be found and no one else could renew it because it was registered to him only. The registrar actioned it off and the bad guys were the highest bidder. Apparently they paid a very high price for the domain. Very unfortunate this happened. Some folks from the community bid for the domain, but the bad guys kept outbidding everyone. In anticipation this might happen, due to Mike's absence, the SpywareInfo forum was moved months ago to a new domain. *****

I purchased spywareinfo.com ***** Since that date it has only been used as a parked PPC page or a page with affiliate links to major PC security companies. Since my purchase there has never been even a hint of spyware, adware or viruses on the site. Now I get comments made by pissed off reviewers that came to the site expecting to see the forum the former owner had and only seeing ads. I see this Wot service enjoys bad reviews just like McAfee SiteAdvisor does so they can sell their WOT Trust Seal Pro for $688.94. That is extortion. If you want a reliable web safety product that doesn't extort money from legitimate websites use Norton *****

Former high quality anti-malware site. Control has been lost to cyber squatters and can no longer be trusted. :(

As others said, this is now a parked page linking to sites including rogue software distributions.
