A review request is a unified style forum posting where you can ask WOT regulars for feedback and ratings for your site. Verified site owners can submit review requests for their sites. Requesting a review is free and perfectly optional. Everyone who has rated the site poorly or left a negative comment will be notified of the request, but it’s up to the users whether they wish to reconsider their ratings or comments, or otherwise respond to the request.

Please note that requesting a review does not guarantee that your website’s reputation changes or that you will receive useful tips for improving your website. However, from previous experience, we know that our forum users are very good at spotting issues. In many cases, this has helped site owners not only receive better ratings, but more importantly, improve their website’s safety.

The thumbnail and description are automatically fetched from your website (from meta tags). You can edit the description from the “My sites” tab in your profile. However, please remember that the description is not the appropriate place for marketing, advertising offers, or sharing additional links. The description can be at most 320 characters long and should give readers a quick understanding of your site.

We automatically blur thumbnails for sites with poor or unsatisfactory child safety reputation and in cases when the site doesn't have reputation yet..
