    Problems with the website

Dear users, as you might have noticed we're facing some issues with our WOT website.

The outages are due to some technical issues on the servers side and our team is fixing them at the moment.

We apologize for any inconvenience it might have caused to you.

    RE: Problems with the website

Ugh. The issue has been fixed. For those who are curious what was that:

we've got a combination of high load, database crash during server reboot, thus it took a while to recover the database and return back online.

    Really sorry for this trouble.

I don't mean to bother you, but I've noticed the static content (both before the incident and now) is proxied through CloudFlare. If you have been keeping track of the forums, you will find some users find issues with CloudFlare helping to operate dodgy websites and doing nothing about it. For the CDN portion, have you possibly looked into any less fishy CDN services?

Oh, seems like the form is broken? We're considering to add banning feature for moderators.

Hey, what happened to the scorecards ?
I'm getting a new design, but can't rate anymore.
What was wrong with the old one, ( except for not enough space around the checkboxes ).

They moved the rating link; it is on top of the comments section.

Okay, there you can find "Rate the website" and that's all.
Clicking on that doesn't provide the two colorful horizontal bars to rate and no section to choose a catagory.
Only a comment field is available.
And when I fill in some text there I get stuck because a red button appaers "Please choose a catagory"
    I can't and I can't rate either......Whatever I try, it doesn't work.
    AAAAARRRRGGHH !
    Programming errors ?
    .
Added : Changing an already existing rating is also impossible.
And the comment box is oversized, the text in the bottom with "agree / disagree, link to this comment" ( and more ) partly vanishes.

If you use the addon noscript or something similar, you may need to allow mywot.com & mywot.net
Or you may need to clear your cache.

Please check again - does the issue still there? If yes, please send the screenshot to support(at)mywot.com. Thanks!

IMHO, you can simply try to click on the rounded arrow on the address bar, it will take the last versions of css & js files from mywot.net

Attempting to rate site on the iPad does not work whatsoever.
I can enter comments but the rating is never applied; I always end up with an unrated entry.

So, half of my 'Submit' button was eaten away by the side of the website. The lines are not even straight!
Happened when I was typing in a Forum post. I clicked preview a multiple times, and all of a sudden, the button was half-eaten. Refreshing the page fixed it. (The black box was my post, just hiding it.)

    A couple thoughts:
    (1) The tag on www.mywot.com is wrong; it calls out XHTML 1.0 Strict where it should simply be where HTML5 is mostly compatible with XHTML but has some tags such as (used in the scordcard circles along with JavaScript to render the circles. This wrong tag can possibly cause compatibility issues in some browsers.

    (2) You say the fix came from refreshing. Did you press CTRL+F5? If so, your browser may have a stale cache. CTRL+F5 deletes the cache for only the current page and to avoid any further surprises you might want to delete your entire browser cache (For Chrome it is "Cached images and files").

On an unrelated note, tinypic.com does not support secure protocols for embedding, so the lock is gone on this page. As a result, in the quote I replaced the image with placeholder text so I am not contributing to the mixed content.

    RE: Problems with the website

Scorecards for Twitter addresses are still differentiated by character case-respect, so there is a separate scorecard for each of:
    twitter.com/user = _p_ovzwk4q.twitter.com
    twitter.com/User = _p_kvzwk4q.twitter.com
    twitter.com/uSer = _p_ovjwk4q.twitter.com
    twitter.com/usEr = _p_ovzuk4q.twitter.com
    twitter.com/useR = _p_ovzwkuq.twitter.com
    twitter.com/USer = _p_kvjwk4q.twitter.com
    twitter.com/UsEr = _p_kvzuk4q.twitter.com
    twitter.com/UseR = _p_kvzwkuq.twitter.com
    twitter.com/uSEr = _p_ovjuk4q.twitter.com
    twitter.com/uSeR = _p_ovjwkuq.twitter.com
    twitter.com/usER = _p_ovzukuq.twitter.com
    twitter.com/USEr = _p_kvjuk4q.twitter.com
    twitter.com/USeR = _p_kvjwkuq.twitter.com
    twitter.com/UsER = _p_kvzukuq.twitter.com
    twitter.com/uSER = _p_ovjukuq.twitter.com
    twitter.com/USER = _p_kvjukuq.twitter.com

    Therefore
if the trust score is significant for "twitter.com/pablitomctavish",
but his web site proudly links to "twitter.com/PablitoMcTavish",
and if search engines echo his preferred unrated Twitter link,
then potential visitors will not see ratings of many addresses.
