    Introduction:
    Hi,
We recently joined Web Of Trust and hope to gain a good reputation, not only for the high quality service we always try to provide to our customers but also in the security of our website and the authenticity of our online content.
We're a small family business and have been in operation for over 50 years. During this time we have built up many positive relationships with our private and commercial clients and this has enabled us to grow our business. Our website has been going for approximately 6 years and we feel in this digital age that businesses should be as open and transparent as possible so that potential customers can accurately evaluate which business they feel is the most trustworthy and suited to their requirements.
Considering all that, would the community here be interested in rating our site?
    Many thanks.

If you read the WOT Wiki at https://www.mywot.com/wiki/Privacy_Policy#Tracking
You will see that Google Analytics has a specific privacy policy requirement that requires that sites disclose its use.

Is there any reason one needs to open a PDF file to find that disclosure?

    Hi,
Thanks for the link. Like you say, there's not any requirement for the use of PDF's, we just thought it would condense the page more as we have multiple policies in different areas, our range of services being quite extensive. I'll talk to the developer and aim to solve this perhaps with a expandable tab which can be clicked instead of using PDF's.
As for the cookie warning bar? This is something we can include but a question about that. Would you think it's acceptable to just have this on the homepage, or should it be on every page?
    Thanks

Update: Our website has been updated with a warning bar to alert people to the use of cookies and with a link to the policy page where cookies are addressed. Also the policy page has been updated so that it no longer uses PDF documents.

    Business Address Update

Since we moved into our new premises a few years ago, our physical business address was causing problems as the building we occupy used to be split into several units with specific allocations for each business. When we took over the building, we occupied several of these units for our business and this caused problems with Google Maps, Royal Mail and other resources used for the location of addresses.
To remedy the situation, we liaised with our local Leeds City Council department responsible for street name and numbering as well as the other remaining businesses within our building. After submitting our proposal, we are pleased to say we have been successful in updating our own address as well as the other businesses within our building.
This update should serve as an example that we are concerned with the accuracy of information regarding our business.

    Our new address:

    Bells Domestics Superstore
    Unit 2
    Camart House
    15-19 Cowper Road
    Leeds
    LS9 7AP

    New browser plugin

The new browser plugin for WOT on Chrome doesn't show our site's reputation, it's just grey with no rating. The classic one works fine.
Is anyone else suffering from this problem and can anyone shed a light on a possible solution?

    Regards,
    Steven

    Hello and welcome to WOT.

I do not find anything amiss with your site though I find it very odd that your WOT rating is so low for Child Safety.
