RE: How do you remember your passwords?

I think without a password manager tool it is nearly impossible to handle really good passwords. Almost every account needs a password, so you have to know 10 and more of these.

I used a similar password but they are not the same. I just add a little twist to them and make them unique so I can easily remember them.

With a mishmash of methods: written down in an address book, memory for a few important machine-access ones, and Firefox's log-in manager. I'm about to experiment with a simple PW-list manager (KeePass).

For me, it's a combination of good memory and Google's/(insert name of website here)'s built-in password managers.

RE: How do you remember your passwords?

Most important ones (said otherwise: those few, which - if fallen into wrong hands -, could cause 'havoc', as for example: Kaspersky login and a few others, which could be counted with fingers of one hand, and are crucial for the operation of my system) are ONLY written down in an old fashioned way: in a notebook, which only I have access to.

Other passwords (which there are a LOT) are all stored in the online utility LAST PASS, with the master password being written in the notebook. It is very long to be remembered (even if used every day) and for added security, it is changed every few months.
