Information based on outdated dog behaviour paradigms such as dominance paradigm
Helpful
The behavior and training information is VERY outdated. It talks about dog behavior in ways that have been known to be false for years and that anyone who has a clue about ethology of dogs (in a scientific view) know are false. Dominance, pack leaders, "natural" corrections by jerking a training collar around your dog's neck... the person clearly has no education in dog behavior yet they act like an expert just because they've owned dogs over their life.

Good to learn about dog breeds

A LOT of information on this site is incredibly inaccurate, and the website endorses training methods that have been proven to be ineffective. There are far better websites for learning about dog breeds.
1
The website promotes incorrect, incompetent and unethical advice about dog ownership. Example of unethical advice: the section about dingoes advises to buy dingo pups younger than 6 weeks of age 'otherwise they are not trainable' (rubbish). The minimum age for any puppy is 8 weeks before it is mature to be taken from its litter. Taking a pup earlier is unprofessional and likely to cause trauma. It is also illegal to own dingoes in at least several, possibly most, Australian states. Dingoes are not a pedigree breed and are not sold as such in Australia, except under special circumstances.

Great site about dog breeds. I agree that it is important to research different dog breeds to find out which one will fit your lifestyle best. Too many people don't realize that different dogs have different temperaments and needs.
