Slows site loads down, according to Ghostery. If you like your data told into propaganda and sold to everyone on the web, go ahead.

Privacy disaster service by Google to track down your own activity. It's better to block 'em by using NoScript or else.

It involves tracking, profiling, sharing to undisclosed 3rd parties and co-operation with advertisers (although Doubleclick is nowdays Google's own, isn't it?). This according to information from Ghostery. It has no benefit to user, it runs unnecessary scripts (wasting your machine resources) and can't be trusted privacy vise.

google does alot of questionable things when it comes to your data. if your a paranoid type like me that is scared of getting malware or spyware or worried when something goes wrong with you pc. blocking it would be a good idea, but some sites might need it to function like one person mentioned.

Is required for correct page display on some sites, xda-developers being a fine example. However, isn't vital and you can block it if you distrust Google that much. My opinion is that it seems pretty harmless, and blocking it is a good idea only if you strive for perfect privacy and block all Google sites.

googletagservices.com enables Google tags to work. A tag is a piece of code that web authors put into web pages so that the site owner can monitor how their content is used, and to better monetize that content (see more at ***** and ***** This probably enables some sort of tracking of user activities. So, if you disable googletagservices.com this tagging will not work.

It's Google and Google IS evil!!! 'nuff said. It's painfully obvious that Google has bought off WOT.

Yes, "is's [sic] Google tag services!" Which means what? That anything Googlish is good? Google's "motto" is "Don't be evil." Nonsense - Google gave that up many years ago; not being evil doesn't pay well. But we're supposed to trust them because, after all, they're Google! Hunt around online to learn about this company: learn about Google's surveillance activities; lack of concern for user privacy; buckling under to the Chinese government (for the good of the Chinese population, of course) and much more. Start with ***** and work your way down from there.
