Toolbar advertising among members who want to promote their websites. Does in no way effect non-members. NO Spyware or unwanted Adware! (They see my ads in return). I fully agree with smithsj1 - votes from people who don't know the sites they vote, or give false information will make WOT useless. How can the user know, who to trust?

Never had a problem with InstantBuzz and the fact that people mark it as spam without using it just because WOT marks it as such creates a self perpetuating myth and calls into question the effectiveness of WOT.

They're a legitimate advertising company. This is a company that OFFERS, only OFFERS, to install their software. It DOES NOT do so randomly. It does so at YOUR request. I've been with them for over 2 years and this is the first I see that someone refers to them as spyware. What utter ROT! Judeline Meintjes.
