I have used the BluRay ripper on a PC and now just starting on my Mac. The interface is fairly generic, but does the job. My big concern was a pop-up that asked me if I would allow this app to record my screen! I immediately denied that request! Be aware that you are paying for a 12 month subscription with automatic renewal. This is not a one-time purchase, so get your rips done and then remove your subscription. I am currently ripping my BluRay collection to my Mac and it's going smoothly, but I was concerned that any program would want to record my screen activity! Very suspicious.

Leawo sells tools top copy your "ip" intellectual property, and some other vendors don;t like that, fearing copyright infringement, so they rate Leawo and other such vendors "bad". I have used software from Leawo and it seems okay, doing what it promises, and copying our own copies of "ip" intellectual property for personal use is okay by law since Sony won their Betax "time sifting" case in the US Supreme Court (look it up). Regarding the negative reviews, to me, it makes sense that antivirus software vendors (Norton, McAfee, at al) would rate this vendor of copying software as poor because antimalware software vendor's job is to sell their own software that reports on "infections". Leawo does not sell infection-ware, they sell tools that are used only intentionally by their purchasers. Anyone can also use Leawo tools, and other vendor's tools, to copy things, but Leawo does not spy. I note that those antivirus software vendors also have rated the Microsoft DOS/Windows FORMAT command, which comes with every version of Microsoft-style operating systems for 40+ years, as dangerous (because it is a tool that can erase a disc), as well as warning me about many other modern system utilities from Microsoft, so take their reports with a grain of salt, so to speak. We might as well warn that Xerox machines are dangerous because they can copy things! And Home Depot hardware stores or Walmart department stores are dangerous because they sell hammers and saws and nails and knives that can be used to hurt someone. Bought a product from this company and they did not send the activation code. Had to play e-mail ping pong with the support desk for 2 WEEKS to get it from them. They were obviously hoping I'd give up and go away. If you want to actually get what you pay for without a nightmare, go somewhere else.

Scanned with AVG and it passed but after downloading AVG went nuts eliminating all kinds of tracking cookies that weren't there before! Also I don't know how but they seem to be able to hide some content from my Virus and maleware scanners. For this reason I would not recommend this site. I haven't seen any spam comming into the through away email address I have used yet but I'm sure that will be comming in the next few days.

The absolute pits when it comes to forum spammers - they are relentless, fortunately though, it is becoming harder for them, yes, I'm talking to you guys who either get paid to spam our forums or the owners direct - the net is closing in, muhaaaahahahahaha !!
