Received tons of spam from this site in the last months.
@Futuro2011, we complain about spam, because we are NOT members and still receive emails every week from these spammers.
@Constantin, you mentioned that they don't spam and "they just act according your preferences". If I'm not a member of this site and still receive emails every damn week then isn't it spamming?
address book slurping spam
twoo.com. 86400 IN TXT "v=spf1 ip4:220.127.116.11/24 ip4:18.104.22.168/24 ip4:22.214.171.124/21 mx include:aspmx.googlemail.com -all"
There is NO reason why they should EVER send me email.
They keep spamming me, no idea why? I'm not a member.
I realy don't get why all these spam complaints?!... the invites I get are not from Twoo, they are from my friends that are on Twoo. Just like I get every day on Facebook, Orkut, Badoo. Like I've sayd on Twoo.com rating, you always have a choice to unsubscribe, and to skip or manage the invites sending. I just had to go to my account settings and choose what emails I wanted to get from Twoo... and it was done. No muss, no fuss. :)
I read a few other comments and I don't understand why people call invites of contact persons 'spam'. All social sites give you the option to invite your friends, so if you don't feel like then you just don't give the permission. Even WOT gives you the option to invite your friends, just as Facebook, Twitter etc. You can easily unsubscribe if you're not interested in 2. In my account settings I chose which mails I want to receive, just as on FB so that's cool. Same thing.
From my personal experience I have noticed that Twoo is sending mails manly due to user requests. If a new member logs in and wants to add friends to the system he/she gives credentials of his/hers email so that Twoo could identify who is on the system and to suggest other friends to join that member in the system. Thus I believe that friends should be blamed for wanting to join you to the system and not the system itself :)
I am a user of Twoo and when I signed up, I paid atten, I invitation to the invitation process. I invited my friends, not everyone. Concerning the spam issues that other users claim, I really think they should just go to their settings and change them! It is so easy to do that! @Mzosaro obviously if they are sending you messages, it means you signed up as a user, or your friends invited you, just as it happens every day with LinkedIn, why don't you delete your account or unsubscribe from mails???
I agree with others who are surprised about the spam rating. Before I started using Twoo I received "spam" from my friends as well but I simply clicked unsubscribe in one of these mails, and they stopped coming. After I started using the site I've had no complaints whatsoever. It works fine and I recommend it to everyone (not with mass mailing though) who are interested in meeting new people.
