Is quickbooks.intuit.com Safe?

joined up for free trial. within a day, I knew it wasn't for me. Then it started. You can't get out of it easily.... I tried everything before I sent a message to ask them to close it before they took money but they said I had to do it from their subscription page. Told the support service person it wouldn't let me. She said it was sorted from her end however, then they starting trying to call me during work!! Oh my, what a nightmare. Won't stop sending emails, incredible. You can't get away from them. Please note... while WOT is now full of spam, this is a legit experience. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole

I have used many types of Quickbooks products.  The site is legit and the discounts they provide on their products are also legit, although they tend to require additional fees if you want to do anything special.  Be careful when clicking on helpful apps... you'll realize they cost more than your income!  ;)

They signed me up for a recurring payment of $40 even though I wasn't using the site, they billed me this for a year and a half before I realized it, and then refused to refund more than $80 even though they acknowledged that I hadn't been using the site. In other words they took my money from my bank account even though they knew that I wouldn't have agreed to it had I known what they were doing. Where I come from they call that stealing, regardless of what smallprint they would point to.

The site is official and safe. The products are good. Quickbooks is a good simple bookkeeping program, but Intuit tax pro software is really something. I've had an accountant or two that used it, very good stuff. Intuit offers a variety of software. I think they are trustworthy.
