You get tricked into giving out your personal information when they say you will get a free 2 day trial of their services. But once you give them what they want they deny you entry. I got a message that said, " Transaction not permitted to cardholder and Sorry we were unable to process your card." However, I had already gave them a up to date, active, card and all of my correct info. I really regret it now. Who knows what they will do with my info and I hate to see the damage it will cause to my computer. Stay away from this site. Don't be fooled by their free offer ripoff.

I've purchased items from this site many times without any issues whatsoever.

I have never had any of the issues that the other posters are speaking of. I have gotten coupons every week from this site, rebates on movie tickets, etc. NEVER any annoying ads or extra e-mails, etc.

I have never had a problem with this site. There has been a couple of times when I have ordered something that I later did not want (i had not received it yet) and they credited me with no problems what so ever. I had a issue with a vendor not sending me product and they resolved it and I received my product. Every issue that I have brought to their attention has been resolved to my satisfaction and I have been very happy with everything that I have purchased.

I ordered a $15 saveology gift certificate for 7.50 online and expected to get an email with the redemption code. Instead the email had instructions in which I had to call the customer service # and give them my information. When I called the sales associate tried to sell me an elite package and when I told him I wasn't interested he became rude and irate. He finally told me that my gift certificate would arrive within 10 business days. 15 business days later my certificate still hadn't arrived, so I called customer service and used the message prompts. It was disturbing that the 2nd prompt was for items not recieved. Thats a HUGE red flag. I waited on the line for about 10 minutes and started to think nobody would answer. I decided to redial and press #1 for elite members, the phone was answered within a minute. The associate told me that my gift certificate wasn't supposed to be mailed out and that I would have it in 24 hours. At this point I still wanted a refund. She tried to talk me out of it saying she might be able to make it avaliable right now but I think its worthless. Saveology cant even get me their own gift certificate, how are they gonna get me merchandise? After I expressed I wanted a refund she became very cold and complained that I was being unreasonable. I stayed nice and apoligized if I was causing her stress because I've worked at jobs like this and I know how it can be. She lightened up and said she had been hearing a lot of complaints like mine and I told her about the phone prompts making me wait, the rude customer service, poor online reviews and inconvience of having to wait to redeem the gift certificate (which she insisted was saveology cash even though it was listed as a certificate). Bottom line I might get a refund within 10 days and if I dont I will contact the better business bureau. Do yourself a favor and DONT do business with this company.

Had a problem but was rapidly solved after 2 phone calls. What spammers?

I been getting their emails for a while now and haven't had any more spam than usual. McAfee Site Advisor rates it as not sending spam, linked to "green" sites (***** and ***** are two--I used bankrate.com all the time).

Do not understand the site's bad ratings unless it is unduly influenced by deliberate attempt to downgrade site. Site is the servicing site for a local deals site. If you don't want their email just unsubscribe. Anyone that calls them spammers are just ignorant.

I tried this site once to buy a $20 voucher for $2. If the site wasn't good I was only out $2. I just used the voucher yesterday and it worked. I know 1 purchase doesn't make the site great, but why is this rated poor for child safety?

I’m just glad that I used my Yahoo account for this site. After signing up, the spam was ridiculous, and still is. Only one person who left a comment had a good experience, which I find quite odd.

It's a daily deal site like many others. I've ordered several items and not had a problem. I even had to call them once to fix a small problem, and they took care of it quickly. And the phone was answered almost immediately by a friendly person. The quality of the deals vary somewhat, but often are quite good. I have not noticed any increase in spam due to using the site. If you sign up for the deals then you do get at least one e-mail per day. I don't know if they leave you alone if you quit, but so far I'm pleased. I note that WOT seems to be misused a lot by folks who seem to have an axe to grind. For example this site is rate poor for child safety, but that's ridiculous since you pretty much have to be an adult to use a credit card and they don't sell or promote anything objectionable anyhow.

I have gotten nothing but a run-around from these people. They double charged me and then took forever to refund my money. As of this comment, I still don't have a refund. The product I ordered also was not fully delivered. When I called to inquire, they nastily let me know that that it was my problem to deal with the company they got the deal for. - not theirs. I will never do business with Saveology again. Buyer beware!!!

Spamvertized STOOGE Site - Site is associated with criminals by knowingly violating US Law. Violating the US CAN-SPAM Act by sending or have sent on their behalf UCE "Spam" to Non-Opt-In email accounts, violating Federal Law, which is a criminal act!
