Is star-telegram.com Safe?

Update: These people have become mega spam meisters. Their unsubscribe function is a fraud and when I served them with legal papers- a cease and desist notice- they continued, so I filed a case. As it goes to trial they are still spamming my client. Below this paragraph is what I wrote two years ago. (Notice how the favorable reviews are at least that old?) How the mighty have fallen! McClatchy has destroyed the paper. Writers we grew up with and respected have left in disgust. Those "trashy links at the bottom of the page"? They're in the news feed now as ST original stories- even though it's Taboola garbage. Now behind a paywall. Every story title is structured as clickbait. It has made me hate McClatchy in a way I never knew I could. Our local, outstanding news outlet is now a page of worthless clickbait. McClatchy decision makers deserve to be hung by the balls and flogged. Locked in a room with a rutting elk on acid, sans pantaloons. ============ This is what I wrote, pre-McClatchy ========================= Great newspaper. Mediocre website. Pakistani scammers spam every story multiple times with completely canned scripts that could easily be eliminated with a decent posting script. ESRI embeds on some pages so numerous that it crashes the tab. Trash links at the bottom of pages about "fake news". Autostart movies on *every* sports story. It's been sold to McClatchy. We'll see what that brings.
