found this site through an online ad and when you sign up it automatically downloads malware to your computer. I cancelled the download. Others beware of this site.
This website used to be loaded with Spyware and stuff, however they were sued by the RIAA years ago and moved to a legal business model and removed all the bundled junk. So, now it is safe.
Hi from iMesh Support!
iMesh is free to download and we want to keep it that way!
In order to cover the cost of our development team and servers, iMesh installation includes a completely optional toolbar with great added features. Your support of this will allow us to continue providing this product to you for FREE.
We all like free stuff but sometimes the trade-off to support the work of others is too great.
Unfortunately, this is our way of providing you a great software at no additional cost for you, but you can always decide between the 2 following options:
1. Install the software without the toolbar:
If for any reason you don't want to use the powerful toolbar functionality, it is possible to install iMesh without the toolbar: during the installation choose, "Custom" installation, and uncheck the "Browser toolbar" checkbox.
2. Uninstall the toolbar:
If you wish to uninstall the toolbar, please follow these simple instructions: http://support.imesh.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article...
We hope this was helpful
