Is www.mlb.com Safe?

This site has a number of issues, the most troublesome is that my credit card info is hard coded into my mlb online profile. There is a way to delete secondary credit cards but not primary credit card info. I have emailed mlb.com and spoken to their customer service department on the phone about this and they have not been helpful in remedying the problem. Other problems include spam emails. There is a link in mlb.com emails to click if a person wants removed from the email list. Even though that link is clicked, the emails continue coming. The last issue is that the MLB site is chalked full of pop up and annoying flash ads which make navigating the site almost impossible without some sort of ad blocker. There are team "themes" provided by '*****' for firefox, internet explorer and chrome but a person should read the privacy policies carefully before installing. Targeted ads are delivered to users who install the themes and even though ***** mentions information about a search provider associated with an installed theme, apparently no privacy policy regarding the search provider seems to be able to be found on the brandthunder.com web site. There is also a link on mlb.com team pages for a "toolbar" associated with select teams. These toolbars apparently are provided by conduit.com.
