Just another fake driver website.

Just another fake driver site full of computer herpes. Malwarebytes was all over that. These idiots haven't changed in 30 years, couldn't find drivers back then b/c of all the malware crap and I still can't find a legit driver site. Manufacturers only offer support for a few years after that your left to these jack-asses. Pretty stupid, you'd think if just one driver site was legit they'd make a killing selling off old drivers b/c they'd be the only ones that weren't spreading the herpes. 6 sites in a row so far, if you're going to look for a driver more than a few years old make sure you're in a virtual environment or a sandbox. They're the new age condoms.

Need to register to get to the page with the recurring price of the service.

Es wird nicht der versprochene Treiber installiert, sondern ein kostenpflichtiges Drivertool, dass angeblich alle Treiber auf neuesten Stand bringt! Gegen Bezahlung!

This is one of many sites that will pop up during a search for a driver. I used this site not too long ago to update a bunch of drivers it said were missing or out of date. I had to run recovery console to undo what it did. This time I was looking for a printer driver. When I tried to download the driver, it wanted to download DriverTool.exe, which scans your drive and looks for every driver you have. Do yourself a favor..if you need a driver, go to the source to get it.

Driver download scam. Tries to sell information without supplying what is commonly available for free elsewhere.

After my system was scanned it reported many drivers as being outdated when they were not. To correct the false reports you have to register which involves paying for their software. I agree with mothbulb "I think a company should be up front about the charge prior to downloading their software that searches your computer." I will find out who owns this product and file a complaint with the government agencies that deal with consumer fraud. Unfortunately, there are many of these websites that prey on consumers who don't have a high level of knowledge about computers which is quite normal. Please be a part of the solution all you need to do is Google who owns the site then Google how to file a consumer fraud complaint. The sites will walk you through the process. A good place to ***** the Better Business Bureau - *****

No drivers; just links through to a 'driver updater' program which costs you to continue. HOW is this site still rated 'good' when almost all reviews are bad?

Linked to suspicious search engine redirections and "driver updates"

Two rootkits are included in initial download.

Appears to emulate a free HP driver download site, then wants money after you give them too much information. Skip this one. Why does it have a "green" rating?

Malware site. Offers drivers that do not exist, and gives the downloads "DriverTool.exe" (spyware, adware, malware) instead of legitimate files. Avoid.

The site claims to allow you to download device drivers when you are really only downloading a tool that they have developed to get you to waste money.

Tricking users into downloading malware instead of drivers.

Why is this sites rating green? It should be red or yellow. SCAM They only give you a "driver updater" that doesn't work, NOT the actual drivers.

Driver Detective scam

all drivers for download on this website have the same file name.

yep a scam again

I thought I was downloading a printer driver, and instead the download was "Driver Detective." Didn't want, didn't need. Bait and switch always annoys.
