Is yac.mx Safe?

This seems to be a good software developer as far as I can tell. Product works very well and the customer support (considering the software product is independent free-ware) is excellent. The poor ratings that others have given YAC maybe purchased harassment of the company. The Yet Another Company outfit seems good to me and the poor ratings seem totally bogus.

They steal definitions and the engine from Malwarebytes Corporation. Why using a poorly made copy when you can have the original? *****

YAC looks like a nice professional cleaning tool, but it really just pretents to actually do somethings (yac always finds something to clean, while cccleaner says everything is fine, it is not clear to me what yac is actually doing all the time) But in reallity: yac installs unwanted programs that are hard to remove and takes over controll over you computer. After a while advertisement shows up, and the search engine of your browser gets locked. That is only what i discovered. Edit: Dear Elex Brazil: It is sweet of you to accuse me of mis-operating your program, but I can guarantee you that I didn't. I downloaded yac from your website (yac.mx) and used it on three different computers just because it looks so professional. I first liked that it seemed to do so much, but then got suspicious after I recognized that it would always find some magical things to do and to clean while my other cleaning tools (like ccleaner) wouldn't find anything. After a few days of not thinking about it, I recognized on all three computers that several days after I installed your program weird things, like the change of the browser search bars happened, and new programs occurred that I have never even heard before. I googled your program and found that many other people had similar problems as me. And finally when I deinstalled it, I found your program magically reinstalled on my computer two days later. Forcing me to use advanced tools like adwcleaner, jrt and malwarebytes and to delete my hidden files in my users folder. The “uncertified download platform” website you are refering to is your own, and that is the reason why I commented on it here on WOT. Non the less, thank you for inviting me to try out your latest version of YAC. However, I was quite happy with the old one, as it made it possible for me to see that it is a virus. I am not very interested in trying out a new version that might hide this fact better. Greetings P

YAC warns that it could take time. Stay tuned.

Hi, the program is nothing but a big mess if you have problems you want to have, then go to that page and already there are the problems! It is very pity that you can not prosecute such a page! Or have an idea. Many greetings to all who read it! didikol
