This site is fine. It hasn't made me any money, but that is not there fault. Ratins regarding Child Safety seem strange since the site is not suitable for children not because it's dangerous. It's a business site that would be boring to 99% of the kids in the world. They would have no interest in viewing this website.

I have seen some uninformed statements on this site. I have bought books from them before and now I sell books for them. I just wish to address what I see as inaccuracies in these statements. The tracking cookies that are in your browser were put there when you clicked on a link to bring you to this site. This is so those affiliates who work hard to bring customers to this site can get paid. One comment says "ad-heavy". I am looking at this right now and I don't see a single ad for anything but their own products. They sell books, are those ads? Without specific information I don't think SpamCop's statement should be allowed. This is practically libel. Please state your source not just anonymous "automatically composed list of spamvertised websites." Thanks

This is an ad tracking website. You click a link to go to a search result/ad/whatever, you will briefly visit this site, then you will get redirected to your final destination. No data gets served from this website, they aren't responsible for the content you will end up seeing, etc.

This is a site that manages affiliate programs. They are very conscientious about their products and about their affiliates. Yes, they have tracking cookies...but that is only used to allow affiliates to get credited for sales. Lighten up folks! :)

This is an ad server for merchants that publish on websites you visit so that the website owners may try to make a profit to pay for or keep their services free to the public. A great majority of these sites that host the ads DO NOT use the tracking information. That info is passed onto the site that you visit when clicking on the ad presented. That information is then used to track what site you were referred from so that the website owner may get paid for the referral, nothing more. The only thing that is placed on your computer is a cookie in your browser. No personal information is given to anyone, unless you provide it.

LinkSynergy is not a scam. Its a redirect for a company called LinkShare, which is a forum through which the websites you visit can make money by promoting merchants. If you run across a Google link redirect through one of these, its the ad buyer who is scamming you, not LinkShare. If you click on a link through a website and are routed through, simply allow the page to load. LinkShare is only tracking so your favorite content sites can make money by allowing you to shop through them. The spam/adware you receive from others is not from LinkShare.
