I have used Deviant for some time now and it has been quite the ride. Artists, animators, and writers can easily submit their content to be sold or viewed by fellow users.
If anything, the only negative was the advertisements, but the website upped their fight against malicious ads and have not been an issue for me since then.
While there is adult content on this site, there is an option for artists to put a filter over their submission. This would then make someone have to make an account to view filtered images, but it's not like kids could make a bunk account and lie about their age.
This is a website where artists can upload their artwork. Some are truly wonderful, others look like they were made by a 6-year-old, and others contain plenty of nudity and gore/horror.
They have a mature filter, but adult supervision might be needed anyway, as this filter is easy to disable (and easy for the artist to ignore).
Failed to deliver a package, upon inquiring about it I was told I never order it. Showed up in my order history 3+ months later and sent a request for an explanation. My money was refunded as the items I ordered at the time no longer existed. I would give this a good rating, but the first inquiry killed it.
