Almost any program for windows operating systems can be found here.
Note that it can attach unwanted application in installation proccess, make sure to remove the "V" before you hit next.
Used to be a good site, unfortunately its now full of ad's and pop ups, and certain things need thinking about before you click or you get more than you bargained for!
Since August 2011, adware/PUP wrappers have been added to most software downloads. Users have unknowingly installed unwanted programs on their computer through their installer. Avoid downloading from this website as much as possible.

When you download software from this site, it comes as a CNET installer, which will also install various adware programs such as Taboola (which changes random words on a website in any browser to links that, when scrolled over, will pop up an ad, and also causes popup ads in a new tab (which themselves can be malicious) sometimes when you click anywhere inside your browser). It will install these unless you make sure to UNCHECK all the "I agree with the [whatever]", and even then it might still install some software you don't want. ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE ORIGINAL PUBLISHER'S OFFICIAL DOWNLOAD SITE INSTEAD OF DOWNLOADING FROM HERE.
This site, although it can be safe... It is an EXE file downloader. This means that it can contain malware and viruses, as well as some unwanted programs. For example, if you download a perfectly safe program, it will likely come with other junk that you didn't ask for. I had that problem when I was new to Windows, and I installed something from an EXE downloader, and I got unwanted programs. I'd recommend only getting software from the official site of the software you are downloading.
Some downloads contain malicious programs, like viruses or PUAs.
EDIT: Now almost ALL of the downloads contain them. I have a feeling that someone is manipulating Cnet into not doing anything about malicious downloads.

Used to use this site a lot before, now I don't.
Review feature is misleading. You think you can just leave a review as the boxes are there to be filled in. So you do so, click submit, then boom! "Oh, you need to SIGN UP to post that lengthy review you just wrote, and then we'll start spamming you but you can opt out of that, honest."
Be careful about downloading something because you might get a virus or malware. It's a good site but just be careful. Because it happened to me. Search for the site you are looking for. Or, go to the site like torchbrowser.com.
