However useful a FB account may be for keeping in contact with friends and relatives, there have been several inexcusable attempts by the company to expose user data to the wider web by relaxing default privacy protections, presumably they wish to monetize their users data by giving it to advertisers.
This is one of the best social networking site available today on the net ,but you have to be careful because some apps can contain harmful malware that can affect your computer,Spam can be a problem too so you have to be careful, other than that i highly recommend this site to anyone who wants to enjoy socializing with other people (and wasting a lot of time ).
P.S some groups on this site aren't appropriate for children so beware.
it is a great site for keeping in touch with friends and meeting new people as well as sharing information and playing entertaining mini games and as long as you don't mind some ads and your careful not to to click on suspicious links then it can be very fun just make sure not to give any information to applications and always check your application privileges settings
No privacy. A lot of sexual themes, ads, etc. Facebook is a window to your life that sells your information to companies to better strategize their media marketing approaches. Just another site to corrupt humanity further than it is.
Trustworthy? Well, you can trust Facebook about as far as you can throw it; users who understand this don't share things that would embarrass them in public. Vendor reliability? Mixed bag - lots of reliable vendors on Facebook, alongside many that are not. Privacy? Newsworthily bad. Child safety? I'm a big believer in parents knowing what their kids are up to - online and off. I think that they're about as good as they can be for something that has a population only slightly smaller than India's and China's - and larger than that of the US. Staggering, when you think about it. It's a fun site, but not the safest place for an Internet newbie.
Concerned about Facebook's plans to use my private information for commercial gain. I don't mind their using it to produce more targeted ads, as Google does, or to compile general market research. But it sounds like they are planning to go far beyond that.
