no on site account cancellation, you have to call a number buried within the site to cancel your account and cancel the $14.95 auto reoccurring "site membership fees" for your "free" credit report

It free for 7 days after that you have to pay. but the thing is. i called in to cancel my account. reason is im not going to pay 14 a month. so they said they will charge me only 7.50 a month for 12 months. i like the site keeps me on top of my credit. all these yahoos on here saying the site is bad. are just big cry babies

It's not free. You'll get a free trial, but then you pay. When I called to end the trial, the person I spoke with was rude. "What did you expect?" she asked.

Just a scam you can get your credit report free from three different providers ever year and it doesn't cost you anything, share on this site.

They advertise they're free, but they charge your credit card. They also have the
MOST.
ANNOYING COMMERCIALS.

I've been using this site about 4 months now and I've never had a problem with it. I have an updated credit score every month and it keeps track of my score in a graph for six months. For everyone mad about getting charged after 7 days, read the fine print. Don't get angry at the site for a personal mistake.

This not a free site. It's a shady trick they pull on you. www.annualcreditreport.com is the legit site.

They are deceptive about charges and automatically enroll you into their PAY program, but make it difficult to un-enroll before the 7 day 'free' trial expires.

it lets you know in the fine print that you have to pay after the trial period. works great to me I've never had a problem with them

It's a real site that spends no money on advertising that insults your intelligence, and it's really free.
"free credit report dot com is a scam. You only get a free credit report by subscribing to the credit bureau's (Experian's) reporting system.
When did "free" stop meaning "free." It's a sign of the times that pervades our entire society.

NOT FREE! They require that you sign up for their useless (the credit score isn't even your FICO score, so it may not even be accurate) and overprice credit monitoring service and automatically charge your card after 7 days.

Besides the fact that money is evil in and of itself, as recent times are proving, FreeCreditReport.com is anything BUT free... In fact, you WILL be charged and they WILL do NOTHING to help you if you have issues with paying any debt... THE END.

annualcreditreport.com is the real site. This is a fraudulent, misleading spoof of the legitimate site. Its purpose it to mislead you into purchasing services after being lured by the promise of free information. Bait and switch.

This company's practices are highly dubious and shady at best. They're under investigation by the FCC. Carefully read a lot of consumer advocate reviews before you even think of signing up with these clowns. There's always a catch when someone says, "free". FCR is NOT a non-profit organization, run by volunteers who do it solely for the good of the community!
