i know a lot of us hate the riaa but think again when downloading music illegally think of how those artists make the music for us to enjoy and with this piracy cd sales are dropping and its also better to support the artist buy buying the cd or song rather than downloading it illegally

This organization should be shut down.. Artists do not care about people who download music, they have millions! Plus, most of their money doesn't come from album sales, its from tours, shows, guest appearances, sponsorships, side-businesses, etc... Its the record company/A&R's that lose money from people that download music. So they are the ones funding this organization. Its nothing but pure greed..

This deplorable organization, along with the MPAA ( http://mpaa.org ) abuses copyright in any way they can. They also support SOPA and PIPA. Also worth noting is the reason they "represent music"- They make more profit off of music than the artists do!
