Amazing game. Iv'e played about 5 years now. You don't download anything. There are ads. But paying members do not have ads but i have adblock anyways. there's also a language filter so its generally child safe.
great if you want to pass the time and i have been playing for 3 years people who say differently and say you will get a virus please get a life or stop clicking every ad on the side of the page and just in case put on the profanity filter if you are a parent and letting children play
EVERYTHING possibly terrible exists there. If you go there, not only will the images be burned into your eyes forever, the website uses Java based exploits that can send malicious code to your computer. Parents, exercise caution to your children and install free web filters and scripts to save the sanity of your kin.
DO. NOT. GO. TO . THAT. SITE
Great game! Great costumer service! Moderators are always on and the chat filter is the best and I should not forget to mention that the game won many awards and it gets updated every week while hackers are not able to do nothing to the accounts and even if they do you can easily recover your account because the costumer service will help you so much!
My reply to people who say it has a virus: The file "jagex_cache_32" is not a virus,it is CACHE and if you do not know what that is then you do not deserve a computer however people who know what cache is may ask:Why doesn't Jagex put the file in the normal cache file (Browser cache)? It is because they want the game to load quickly and they do not want this to be deleted if you delete your cache! Understand me? This game is virus free and I have been playing for about 5 years! It got released in like 1998 and it has millions of players so you should think before you say that is has a virus! IT IS A GREAT GAME!
This person has no idea what they are talking about http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/runescape.com/comment-5385079. The folder is used to help the game run properly and is not a virus. Anyone who says RuneScape contains a virus should be ignored. (This is like calling the Windows folder a virus, it makes no sense.)
