Even the head of the Church, Pope Francis, when asked about homosexuality, responded, "who am I, a sinner, to judge others." Now I apologize if I misquoted this wonderful man. I point out that the Church has held a very poor record when it comes to protecting children from the pederastic desires of some of its priests. This is not debatable. The Church has had a history of shuffling it's predator-priests to different parishes & churches to protect them after it has become known that they have victimized children. I d,on't mean to suggest that all, or even a sizeable percentage of priests are this way, but as in many political situation, the coverup is almost worse than the crime. I have known a number of gay priests who were very good people. What is missing from these hypocritical diatribes is the changes that have occurred in the light of human development. Do either parts of the Bible still support slavery? Do any Catholics support the suggestion that homosexuals be killed? I wonder how people who hold the beliefs contained herein, know that the Christ brought a message of love, not hate NOR judgment. I apologize in advance for any harm or ill-will which I may have caused - such was not my intent. It just seems to me that the attitude of the Pope should be a message to all of us, to recognize the harm that has been placed upon oppressed people who have suffered enough from society's bigotry & that love & compassion should be extended to those that have already have been wounded. I have seen these beliefs from the Catholic Church aid those who hate. I recognize I have a long way to go...I believe that the road to the Divine takes many paths, but, eventually, we get to the same place. Peace be unto all, John Cannon

Despite the amount of people actually defending this organization (and I know I am going to be downvoted by them), it is a highly discredited organization that practices a known form of abusive "therapy" under the guise of "curing" homosexuality. Every major credited scientific and psychological organization has stated that this form of therapy does NOT work and is potentially damaging towards their victims. The website justifies its practice by stating age old myths, stereotypes and generally untrue/discredited statements to justify their practices. No matter how much you defend this organization and others like it, it does not take away the fact that it does not work and is inherently abusive. Also, there is a reason why MANY have called this type of "therapy" to be banned and is actually illegal in certain places. Evidence and resources: ***** ***** ***** ***** *****

This is one of the best sites for Catholics and other Christians dealing with same-sex attraction. It has excellent resources, and is fully faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Those who are seeking help or who are looking for information in line with the moral law and natural law should not be dissuaded by negative ratings from those who consider views different from their own as “hate speech” or “discrimination.”
