This detractors of this website are falsely claiming that it is "hate speech" and "dangerous" for a parent to want to be informed when a boy wants to sleep in a tent with girls without the girls' parents/guardians being notified. These commentors also claim it is anti-LGBT to inform parents when LGBT political activists are published as role models in Girl Scout books or serving in high-level, paid positions in the Girl Scout organization, which is true and well-documented. There is nothing un-factual or derogatory about this information and the website has many original documents from the Girl Scouts themselves. Freedom of speech should be for everyone, not just angry detractors.

I have heard from several people regarding the matters talked about on Honest Girl Scouts. As a former GS, I know that there has to be a grain of truth in all of this and it saddens me that people would go after the page for it. I have been on the pages several times and have seen nothing that is harmful to children. Read the pages and make up your own mind, but it shouldn't be black listed over the expressions listed there. What harm has come to people that have told the truth if it is the truth?

***** is a safe site from a technical point of view. From a political point of view, it exposes how the Girl Scouts of America have become politicized to the point where consideration should be given to girls leaving GSUSA and joining other organizations like American Heritage Girls. As a result, people who oppose such efforts are now using WOT to unjustly give a bad technical rating to *****, and that is simply false. I have visited HonestGirlsScouts.com for a while and there are no technical problems or concerns whatsoever. Please visit it to see why a few people are so opposed to it.

This site is simply talking about protecting traditional values within the Girl Scouts of America. This is an acceptable social/political worldview that is not endorsed by the mainstream media.... and so the site has been blacklisted. Regardless of your take on the issue, this is simply an expression of free speech. There is nothing dangerous or harmful about this site.

hate speech. crazy talk. does not know the difference between transgender and homosexuality. violates the Girl Scout Law: The Girl Scout Law I will do my best to be ... considerate and caring, ... responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, ... make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout.
