It warns users of spam, contagious malware sites, and those sneaky backdoors . It also informs me before I enter the site whether it is safe to proceed or not. (Varies from the user's ratings.) It's possibly the best add-on for Firefox when it comes to safety.

EXTREEMLY usefull. I currently use the WOT addon on my Mozilla Firefox browser and it's one of my favourite apps. Not only has it led me astray to bad, untrustworthy, malicious or spam sites but I'm sure that many will agree that it really has redefined the web. Simply because it gives users the availabilty to rate, comment, discuss and debate their favourite and not so favourite sites they've come across, so that the internet community has a more in-depth understanding of the reliable and unreliable sources.
