As an experienced gamer & I.T enthusiast Ive played Quake since 1996. Q3 was ruined by hackers & cheats. I consider QL to be an unsafe site & certainly not acceptable for children due to the very gross & rude chat on many servers.. There are many experienced cheats there & even the admins are questionable!. Ive experienced a huge amount of repeated PC issues at the web site & the standalone game, such as: excessive hard drive activities & crashing of my Internet connection & securities, such as Online Armor (oasvc.exe) causing need to power off button & restart PC. I had the most issues when running a popular server, that competed with the admins ones !. I WAS DEFINITELY BEING HACKED VIA THE SITE/ GAME.. Overall, the site has low ethical standards, It appears to favor Evilness & unfairness with many 'top' players (control freaks) with sick, gross or demonic linked names inc the number of the beast, eg: 666.. Most likely satanist.. A fun classic game ruined & run by nasty nutters imo ! yet again !.. And guess what, surprise surprise, I'm a Christian who tried to run a clean game there with my own rule set !.. imo, you'll need to be an I.T Pro to ensure safety from hacking there (if you were to be targeted) & the place should be 18+..
