I've used dealchecker to compare holidays (they don't sell anything themselves). I have also signed up to emails in the past and didn't have a problem unsubscribing.

I signed up to dealchecker a couple of months ago, and have only ever received the travel deals that I signed up for. The site does what it says on the tin, and I can't fault the mailings that I've been sent.

We never send unsolicited mail, so if you are having problems with your dealchecker mailings, for example you don't think the unsubscribe link has worked or you don't remember signing up to our service please email us at *****
We'll take you straight off our mailing list and we'll want to get to the bottom of the issue too.

I understand about the unwanted e-mails but it still gives the buyer a chance of a good deal on accommodation if you want to book I will review my final rating untill i no longer wish to receive mall from Dealchecker.
